You asked about insurance covering Abby's Kid Walk.. and yes they did w/out an issue. She also has Alabama Medicaid which covered the rest not covered by BCBS. The Medicaid took about 3+ months to approve it.
I'm sorry you've had trouble with your insurance. that stinks. -Patty
This is a blog about my son, Fletcher, who was born 15 weeks too soon weighing 1 pound 9 ounces. After three months in the NICU, Fletcher made it home and is a vibrant, happy boy, but will never completely outgrow the marks of his extreme prematurity.
Fletcher has been diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy (mixed tone) and has significantly delayed motor skills. This blog not only serves as a journal of Fletcher's remarkable life, but hopefully will also be helpful in some small way for other families in similar situations.
